This year's Nintendo Direct had some exciting announcements for the Nintendo Switch 2, including a launch date of June 5, 2025, features on the new machine, and tons of new and classic games.

Donkey Kong Bananza

Everyone's favorite gorilla is coming to Switch 2 in Donkey Kong Banaza, set to launch on July 17, 2025. It's a 3D platforming adventure where Donkey Kong can smash through just about anything.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

Set to be released this winter, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonmentcomes from Nintendo and Koei Tecmo. The musou-style game is a prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Users can play as Zelda as they go back in time to the Imprisonment War.
