Spotify has released a brand new feature, Spotify Karaoke. Now, you can sing along to your favorite tracks, while the app judges your accuracy, lyric-by-lyric. It sounds like the perfect party game — or simply a chance to test out your musical talents solo.
The feature hasn't been rolled out for everyone just yet but is expected to make it to screens globally in the next few months. Several of us at Mashable checked whether our Spotify apps offer Karaoke yet, but almost none had it ready to go. Many users have said they updated their apps before having the feature available. Others are still waiting patiently post update.

First, check if you have the sing-along feature at your disposable. Spotify Karaoke will reportedly be available for all subscribers, not just Premium users.
On any song (or one you reallywant to belt out), scroll down on the screen to the Lyrics section on mobile, or find it by pressing the microphone button in the bottom right of the desktop version.
On the top right-hand side of the Lyrics section, select the "Sing" icon, with the microphone next to it. Once you get here, lyrics will appear on the screen and so will an audio analyzer. The new mode uses your device's microphone to listen to your voice (a slight privacy flag, perhaps) and ultimately provide an accuracy score out of 100, depending on how well you've done, kind of like SingStarused to on PlayStation.
Let the many karaoke sessions begin.
